We are pleased to announce that Boyer & Corporon Wealth Management has been selected as one of the 2011 honorees in the 10th Annual 25 Under 25® Program.
Now in its 10th year, 25 Under 25 is an annual awards program created by KC Small Business magazine.
The business community at large may submit nominees to the program each year as long as the nominee is a Kansas City-area business that employs fewer than 25 full-time employees (or full-time equivalents), and has been in business for three or more years.
Qualified nominees complete an application and provide additional support materials that are reviewed by a panel of third-party judges from the business community. This panel selects the final 25 honorees according to:
- Financial stability
- Ability to overcome obstacles/adversity/challenges
- Community involvement/service
- Distinguishing or defining characteristics/qualities
- Company vision
After the 25 finalists are announced in mid-December, several events honoring the finalists are scheduled throughout February and March. The February issue of KC Small Business profiles each honoree in a special 25 Under 25® supplement, while the local “Smart Companies” radio show invites them to make guest appearances. The events culminate in a black-tie-optional awards dinner and gala on February 26, 2011 at the Grand Ballroom–Kansas City Convention Center.
